Chapter 4

For those of you who believe that "you aren't on time unless you're five minutes early," you may struggle with the timing of these posts. I was not able to release this earlier in the day because I have been in the process of moving and was a bit behind in my editing. I hope you are still enjoying the book and look forward to reading any comments you may have.

Click on this link to listen to Chapter 4 of The Wicket of Silvus.

I don't have any energy for a longer post. But you can check out the previous post on chapter 4.

Chapter 3

Chapter 3 has arrived!

Once again I want to thank you for your support and encouragement as I work through this interesting project. It has been quite a bit of fun to revisit the characters and get the storyline moving in my head again. Hopefully book 3 won't be far behind.

Chapter 3

Have fun listening! And when you're done, have a read of the original post regarding chapter 3.

Chapter 2

Thank you for the positive response regarding my book recording! I am pleased to be able to offer this to you.

Just a reminder, I am not a professional narrator and there are several reading blips in these videos, but that's what you get when you have the author reading and not another professional. While I read, I also tend to edit in my mind and that can be distracting at times. :) However, I hope you can still enjoy this reading of Chapter 2:

Chapter 2 - Ice Cream Drips & a Red Fedora

You may have noticed there was no Thursday post regarding Chapter 1. Please feel free to look back at previous blog posts to read through the already posted info on that chapter, or click here

Have an awesome day, and enjoy all of your adventures in 2023.

Chapter 1

At the beginning of last year, I was writing a blog post for each chapter of my first book, The Wicket of Silvus. However, a dear friend and loved one commented that she did not have the opportunity to read my book because her eyes were not good enough to read anymore. She requested I do an audiobook. Since I am not able to hire a voice actor, I decided to record my book for her and, by extension, for you!

Keep in mind this is not a professional reading. It is also not just audio since I am more familiar with video editing than audio editing.

I will be releasing chapters every Monday, so keep your eyes open for the latest chapter! I will also be following up with a blog post on that chapter every Thursday. I look forward to sharing this journey with you!

Happy News Year!

 Happy New Year!

Thank you for the amazing support you have given me over the past year. In 2022, I released the second book in The Saga of Mayor Natu - The Phoenix and the Enchanter, I had my book in a local Christmas craft market, and I was a guest speaker at a local school in my "hometown." What a great year as a new author!

Over the past couple of months, I have taken a break from blog writing to work on a new project that I will be introducing tomorrow. Stay tuned to this blog and the Facebook page for the upcoming announcement!

I'm excited and nervous to share this with you. But I know this is important to some of my readers and I look forward to seeing how it turns out in the end.

Have a lovely day and see you all tomorrow!
